When big feelings take over, I’m here to help you & your child

Hi, I’m Lindsay—a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Synergetic Play Therapist. I help children and teens navigate anxiety, big emotions, life transitions, and behavioral challenges through a nervous-system-informed, neurodivergent-affirming approach to therapy.

If you’re here, you’re likely worried about your child. Maybe they’re anxious, melting down often, withdrawing, or struggling in relationships. You’ve tried to support them, but something still doesn’t feel quite right. You want your child to feel calmer, more confident, and understood—and you’re looking for the right kind of help.

That’s where I come in.

My work is grounded in Synergetic Play Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, and a deep respect for each child’s nervous system. Sessions are play-based, relational, and are highly individualized to your child’s needs. I collaborate closely with caregivers because meaningful change happens when children feel supported both in and outside the therapy room.

Families often tell me they feel seen and not judged—that I bring clarity to confusing behaviors and a sense of calm to emotionally overwhelming situations. I believe real progress comes from connection, not just strategies.

Before entering private practice, I worked as a school-based therapist in the Jeffco School District, supporting children from preschool through middle school. With this background, I understand how various systems intersect and impact your child. I regularly collaborate with schools and other providers to ensure coordinated, thoughtful care.

I hold a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver with a concentration in Children & Youth, along with a certification in School Social Work. Just as importantly, I bring curiosity, compassion, and collaboration into every session.

Your child’s story matters. Your relationship with them matters. And healing is possible—together.
